These are glass. They are much too thick to be crystal. Besides

crystal usually will say whatever percentage of lead it has. The lead gives

it clarity & makes it easier to cut. I would imagine that these are pressed

the liquid would have to sit in the lead for hours or days to leach &

cause any harm. That is why you don't see crystal decanters anymore,  
because the brandy or sherry was stored in the decanter. My grandmother  
had no problems.
